The
Kodak PalmPix is an innovative extension to hand-held organiser,
turning Palms into digital cameras. It enables users to take pictures
and transfer them to their desktop through the device's HotSync
cradle. Pictures are viewed on the Palm's LCD screen (2.3 x 2.3
inches) as colour or greyscale images and stored as standard jpeg
or bitmap files. They can be accessed as full-colour VGA (640 x
480) pictures and can be manipulated, emailed, printed and saved.
