KODAK INTRODUCES KE60 CAMERA
- Easy Load, Easy Pictures, Easy Smile

November 3, 2000, Mumbai:

Kodak the leader in consumer imaging today announced the launch of the KE 60 camera that makes photography very easy and worry free. This new generation easy load camera has an easy film loading mechanism that's unique - 'Loading a film is now a child's play'. This camera is in line with the fashion trend this season, it comes in a trendy silver colour putting forward a contemporary look. It has a small, compact size that makes it easy to carry & operate.

"Research has shown that the consumer's biggest concerns with photography are the difficulty of loading of film and the loss of pictures due to improper loading. The KE60 camera has been designed based on this key consumer insight. It comes with the easy film loading feature and additional features that make picture taking extremely easy and fun." Said Mr. Rajesh Singh, Sr. Vice President Consumer Imaging. " The camera is designed to inspire you to take it with you wherever you go." He added.

In addition to the Easyload feature, the Kodak KE60 has a left-handed rubberised grip, which improves holding and gives a distinctive look to the camera. It offers a failure proof loading mechanism, which ensures the film, is loaded correctly and the film door is locked. This prevents accidental opening of the film door. An amber coloured safety door lock indicator assures the user that the film is loaded and door is closed. The KE60 has three autofocus zones with an improved close-up focus - the camera automatically focuses on the subject from 1.5 feet onwards and gives clear, sharp pictures at all distances.

The Kodak KE60 is the first camera with a Backlit LCD panel that makes it easy to operate in dark conditions, it displays all settings in one location. Its advanced features include a self-timer with a ten second delay. The self-timer can now be used with a lot of confidence on account of the " In the Picture indicator". The visibility of the red bulb completely assures the photographers presence in the picture.

The camera has a power saver mode that helps conserve battery power. It has a seven option flash system that gives the photographer a greater variety of photo opportunities, not available with normal compact cameras i.e. city skylines, monuments by night, great close ups, landscape shots, and photographs through windows. A 29mm wide angle Kodak Ektanar lens enables larger group photos. The Kodak Sensaliteä flash comes on automatically and the unique design of the camera and flash reduces the unsightly "red eye" effect.

Priced at Rs. 4595/-, the KE60 comes with a two-year warranty and the outfit includes a free Kodak Max Film ( 24 exp. ), one lithium battery and an attractive pouch. It is available at all Kodak Express outlets, leading photo stores and large departmental stores in metros and mini metros.
