KODAK ENTERTAINMENT IMAGING PRESENTS
- Technical Excellence Award at MAMI

Mr. Shankar Dutta, Country Business manager and Vice President Entertainment Imaging of Kodak India Limited, today presented the technical excellence award in filmmaking to the renowned cinematographer Mr. K.K. Mahajan, at the international film festival being held by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Images.

Speaking at the occasion Mr. Dutta said. Through this award the film fraternity has given us the opportunity to contribute and further strengthen our commitment towards the recognition of excellence in cinema."

Mr. K.K. Mahajan has photographed over 80 feature films, over 100 advertisement shorts, 20 documentaries and several Television serials. Some of his renowned work has been with acclaimed Directors such as Mrinal Sen, Basu Chatterji, Mani Kaul, Kumar Shahani, Ramesh Sippy and the like. He has been the recipient of 4 National Awards for Best Cinematography for 'Sara Akash' (1969), 'Uski Roti' (1970), 'Maya Darpan' (1972) and 'Chorus' (1976). His talents as a cinematographer can be seen in films such as 'Maya Darpan', 'Ek Din Achanak', 'Kasba', 'Calcutta 71', 'Chit Chor', 'Khandhar', 'Khayal Gatha', 'Mukti', 'Karmayogi', 'Akayla' to name a few.
